GIS Mapping

Software & Scanning Services provides the following services: GIS-Geographic Information Systems, Vectorization, CAD conversions,  mapping, geo-referencing, scanning in B/W, grayscale and color up to 40” x unlimited,  Plotting in B/W and color,  Imaging systems, document management, workflow, programming, systems/network administration, database administration, UNIX and Microsoft support, Internet firewall security consulting, GIS webpage design, Intergraph, ESRI, MicroStation, and AutoCAD support, GIS and CAD training, as well as hardware and software sales,.  NAICs: 541370, 541340, 541511, 541512, 541513, 541519, 514210, 18210, 561410, 443120, 541430, 561320.

Software & Scanning Services has physical resources of large format and document scanners, HP plotters, TCP/IP network linking CAD workstations, UNIX, Windows NT, XP and Vista operating systems, Oracle RDBMS, MicroStation and AutoCAD, Intergraph GIS / mapping applications, and ESRI applications. A full-time Internet connection & firewall, Internet, Web, FTP, and Email services also providing remote support of clients.  Personnel resources include 38 subcontractors, six full time employees, and affiliations with multiple companies.

Software & Scanning Services has a client list, which includes The Dominion Company, Entergy Services Co., International Marine Terminals, McDermott Inc., Exxon-Mobil Exploration & Producing, US, Exxon-Mobil Oil Refinery Operations, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ABB Automation, SAIC, Minerals Management Services and Wink Engineering.  The largest job completed was a $2,000,000 system/network administration, CAD, PDS, programming, document management contract for the Chalmette Refinery.  Current jobs include GIS, GIS development, network wiring, CAD, scanning, and mapping.
